I went shopping yesterday and came across two VERY amazing art books.
Figure Drawing for All It's Worth and Drawing the Head and Hands both by Andrew Loomis.
Ive been dipping into the "Loomis" study, as it's commonly called by alot of people on the internet. Andrew Loomis redefined the way people were drawing. A friend of mine told me about this guy and I decided to look him up...come to find out alot of artist I gain inspiration from recommend the "Loomis Study." After working with the study I found my art had improved ten fold without me putting alot of effort into it. I still have a long way to go...but Im on it!

He gives a very very awesome(HD) explanation of the Loomis study!
I dropped about 90 bucks on just two Loomis books...mainly because they are out of print, 2 of them have only recently been reprinted.... Of course you can find anything on the internet...but I dont know about you...I hate...HATE.. to read things on the internet knowing there is a book I could physically hold in my hand. Plus I get distracted by the internet so easily...2 second email check usually turns into a 4hr tour of the weird side of youtube or tumblr.....
One cool thing about the Loomis books is that he has a sense of humor... Most art books I read are dull and boring...LOL MOST BOOKS I READ ARE DULL AND BORING....ugh reading... anyway...Dr. Loomis writes as though he is actually there with you....It feels like he includes you in his book...like his book is directed to you and you only.
Well, thats all I have to update...seriously....study Loomis...you wont regret it.
